CALLAHO BOARD OPTIONS
As a result of the somewhat fluid COVID-19 lock-down regulations, it is currently not possible to predict what the status quo regarding the transport of Callaho auction horses will be immediately after the auction. Consequently, we have decided to offer various aftersales ‘stay-put’ options to enable buyers to have peace of mind regarding any possible scenario’s which may unfold post-auction. These options are also available to horses that need to return to the Western Cape but may not immediately do so due to AHS restrictions on equine movement.
For all horses paid within 7 days, Callaho will offer a 14 day well-deserved holiday, starting the day after auction, for all horses sold on the auction, free of charge. They will remain in their spacious camps on half rations together with the same group of (no more than 4) friends they have spent the last 10 months with. On the "fall of the hammer" all horses are insured for a period of 30 days.
Additionally, owners may choose one of the following options after the 14-day holiday has passed if they would like to do so:
Continue exactly as the post-auction 14 day holiday: half rations & paddock – holiday.
Tariff :
R2000 p/m or pro-rata portion thereof.
Extra :
Compulsory insurance to be renewed after the preliminary 30 day insurance has expired: Mortality cover at 0.6% of the value of the horse per month with Critical Care Cover at R425 per month.
Same paddock as option A, but horse put into light work: either one of three activities (walker 30 minutes / lunge 20 minutes / rest day) sequentially alternating one per day. ¾ Rations. Week-ends at leisure.
Tarif :
R3000 p/m or pro-rata portion thereof.
Extra :
