Overview
Sampras offspring, although scarce as hen’s teeth (Sha Rukh Khan with Chris van der Merwe and Sigmund with Lara Neill), they are invariably remarkable jumpers and especially so when bred out of a top-performance dam-line. Sambuca is a dark bay like his father but with flashy colouring from maternal grandsire Lissabon. Even though he has a sweet, affectionate temperament with superb rideability, this is a spunky, confident jumper who just loves his job.
